How to Use Routing (ENHANCED PACKAGE FEATURE)

Routing Tab: Find Closest Item(s)

Within the Routing tab you have the option to find the closest unit(s) to any point that you select on the map or an existing POI; search for any item within a Circle and a Polygon and Find directions from one position to another.

Routing is included in the Btracking Enhanced Tracking Package, see Btracking Plans and Features

To find the closest item:

Click the Routing Tab

  1. Click on the Map or enter an address on the field to be the point or address from or check the Search by Landmark and choose the landmark you want as the from position
  2. Check the Most Recent and Reported within the last 24 hours, if you want to display closest unit(s) that was (were) reported within this time frame
  3. Check the historical and enter a date range you wish to search within this time frame
  4. Choose group name on the group drop-down if you with to specify your search for within a group
  5. Enter the number of closest unit(s) from 1 to 10 on the item(s) option
  6. Click Locate
  7. Click Direction to display it, select the language  you wish to display the direction
  8. Click the Print icon to print the given direction
  9. Click the Share icon if you wish to share it to a friend
  10. Check Send to Device box if you wish to send the directions to a Device which has a Garmin attached. Please note the Garmin will receive the directions in text mode

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To Search for Directions from a start address to End address

 Click the Get Directions tab

  1. Click on the Map or enter an address on the field to be the start point or start address or check the Search by Landmark and choose the landmark you want as the start address or check the search by Item and choose the item you want to be your start location
  2. Click on the map to get, the position you want to be the end address
  3. Click Get Directions
